Dr. Abdelhakim BOUYAHYA completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, and Health in 2018 at Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. He is currently working at Mohammed V University in Rabat as a professor of Biology. His research focuses on ethnobotanical studies of Moroccan medicinal plants as well as the investigation of their pharmacological properties (antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, antiparasitic, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, etc. He has published several original research papers and reviews about biochemistry and pharmacological properties of medicinal and aromatic plants. He is also an Editorial Board Member of various scientific journals (Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, Industrial Crops & Products, BioMed Research International, Food Chemistry, etc.
